Symptom
Monogram dishwasher leaking
On a fully integrated dishwasher a leak is invisible until the cabinetry has taken it, and in these kitchens the flooring and the joinery are the expensive part of the room. A door that has dropped is the most common cause and the least dramatic one.

Six ordinary causes
What this usually turns out to be
Cheapest and commonest first, which is also the order we check them in. They sit hundreds of dollars apart, and only the unit settles which one is yours.
-
A door that has dropped
Sealing unevenly along the bottom edge. The commonest cause on panel-ready machines.
Dishwasher door latch repair from $145 -
The door gasket
Hardened or displaced.
Door seal replacement from $165 -
A hose or a clamp
Age, heat and vibration. Slow, and at the back where nothing is visible.
Dishwasher pump replacement from $265 -
The disposal connection
A clamp that has loosened, or a hose that has hardened at the fitting.
Dishwasher drain repair from $155 -
Overfilling
A float that has stuck, which is what C4 reports.
Dishwasher drain repair from $155 -
The pump seal
Reached last, and it means the machine comes out.

Before you call anybody
None of it needs tools, and all of it makes the visit shorter.
-
01
Stop using it
Genuinely. Every cycle adds to what the cabinet is absorbing.
-
02
Look for LEAK DETECTED or 999
On the top edge of the door.
-
03
Put paper down
Front and, if you can reach, underneath.
-
04
Check whether the door falls open
A door that will not hold its position is the usual cause on a panel-ready machine.
How it shows up
What people describe when they call
A shortcut
Narrow it down before anybody arrives
A description of the behaviour leaves a few possible causes. A code names the subsystem before anybody opens anything, which is why it is worth photographing before it clears.
If there is no code at all
The data plate is inside the cabinet, upper left wall or behind the grille. All models

About Monogram dishwasher leaking
Stop using it and find out where it is coming from
Do not keep running it to see if it does it again. Put paper down in front of and under the machine if you can reach, run a short cycle and watch. Water at the front points at the door and the seal; water at the back or a damp cabinet base points at a hose or a connection, and that is the version doing damage you cannot see.
What it usually means, by the kind of Monogram appliance
Monogram sells one appliance in several forms, and the same behavior points at different things on each of them. A built-in side-by-side and an integrated column are not the same service situation, and a dual-fuel range and an induction range fail in different halves.
- Machines with Floor Protect — They detect it themselves and cancel the cycle, showing LEAK DETECTED or 999. That is the appliance protecting your floor and it should be taken at its word.
- Panel-ready doors — The heavy panel and the springs that carry it. A door that drops seals unevenly along the bottom edge and leaks slowly, which is the version that does the most damage.
- Older installations — Hoses, clamps and the connection to the disposal, all of which age in a warm cabinet.
Why this is the one to call about early
Every other complaint on this site costs food, electricity or patience. A leak under an integrated dishwasher costs cabinetry and flooring, and it does it silently. The machines with Floor Protect cancel the cycle and tell you outright, and that message deserves to be taken seriously rather than reset away.

Questions about monogram dishwasher leaking
It shows LEAK DETECTED but I cannot see any water.
Believe the machine. The sensor is in the base tray, which is exactly where you cannot see, and it is there because that is where a leak arrives first.
Can I reset it and finish the load?
You can, and we would not. If it is a genuine leak the load is the least of what it will cost you.
