Warm air coming out is correct. Nothing coming out, or air that is very hot, is the whole diagnosis — either the fan has stopped or the coil behind it cannot get rid of what it is collecting. ### What it usually means, by the kind of Monogram appliance Monogram sells one appliance in several forms, and the same behavior points at different things on each of them. A built-in side-by-side and an integrated column are not the same service situation, and a dual-fuel range and an induction range fail in different halves. - **Panel-ready beverage centers** — A custom panel on a small door, and a grille at the bottom that a plinth or a kickboard can cover completely. - **Bar refrigerators with an ice maker** — Two machines in one cabinet. Cooling that is marginal shows up first as ice production falling, before anybody notices the drinks. - **Double-drawer units** — Opened more often than any door, and the wear is in the runners and the drawer seals rather than in a hinge. ### Why so many of these are not repairs Because the appliance is designed with a small margin and the installation is what removes it. Only if it is specified for it, and most are not. It will work for a season or two and then fail in ways that are not really repairs — corrosion at the condenser, and control boards that have lived in salt air. ### It struggles only when we have people over. Dozens of door openings plus a warm room plus a full load is the hardest thing you can ask of this appliance.
