### About sealed system work on a built-in cabinet

The refrigeration circuit itself: compressor, condenser, evaporator and the refrigerant between them. It is the largest repair on a cold appliance, and on a built-in cabinet worth five figures it is usually still the right thing to do — which is not true of every make in this fleet. It is reached by measurement, never by elimination, and the number is agreed in writing before anything is opened.

### How do you know it is the sealed system and not something cheaper?

Pressures, temperatures across the evaporator and condenser, and current draw at the compressor. Those readings either point here or they do not. A sealed-system diagnosis reached by ruling everything else out is a guess with a large invoice attached, and we do not work that way.

### If it is leaking, can you just top it up?

We can, and it will be back within months, and you will have paid twice. A leak has a location and finding it is part of the repair. If the leak is somewhere that cannot be reached economically, we will tell you that plainly rather than recharging it and staying quiet.
